WEARMAX is a highly abrasion-resistant finish containing ceramic for wood floors and smooth floors. It was the first brought onto the market in the U.S.A. and developed further by the pematex company. It uses technology that also finds application in the aerospace industry.

Resulting from the ceramic components, excellent resistance to abrasion could be achieved; the  year warranty against wearing through which WEARMAX offers (conditional to repair by a WEARMAX Professional Teampartner) is also unique.

Idea:

To create a permanent protection for various floor surfaces.

Product:

WEARMAX is a patented, liquid ceramic finish. Totally new and, to date unique, is the use of ceramic powders in paint for application to newly installed or worn flooring.

WEARMAX resists extremly high wear loads and is suitable for all non-absorbent surfaces such as PVC, vinyl, rubber, linoleum and also for stone floors. Tests with sandpaper showed absolutely no abrasion.

Watch the Wearmax Product presentation.

Advantages:

Comperes with conventional protective coatings, WEARMAX is far more hard-wearing and, furthermore, requires less cleaning and maintenance work.

The usual back-to-base cleaning of the floor after ca. 1 to 2 years epmpoying aggressive cleaning chemicals becomes unneccesary and, consquently, WEARMAX makes a valuable contribution to environmental protection.

The floor finishes last much longer because damaging substances are unable to penetrate them. The ommission of the annual back-to-base cleaning and simplified maintenance lead to WEARMAX creating enormous cost savings.

Your advantage:

Compared with conventional coatings, WEARMAX offers a host of advantages which, on closer inspection, emphasise the special value of the products, a fact supported by the manufacturer´s 3 years warranty.

  • leading to long term durability
  • preserves the value of the floor
  • resistant to most diluted acids and alkalis
  • resistant towards many chemical substances
  • resistant to abrasion, even making parquet flooring suitable for wheelchairs
  • excellent appearance, little maintenance necessary
  • simple maintenance cleaning
  • saves on cleaning agents
  • annual back-to-base cleaning unnecessary
  • on-hazardous material
  • slip-resistant, even when surfaces are wet or damp
  • environmentally friendly, being water based
  • no polishing necessary
